Here's the deal, Orchard Church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. City Gate Church is a family of individuals that have found life in Jesus, and want as many people as possible to experience that same freedom.
Where we come from
City Gate Church has been serving people in Hillsboro, Washington County, and around the world since 1938. In the olden days, our church name was Pentecostal Tabernacle of the Assemblies of God (man, that's a mouthful, right?). None of us were here back then, but we think it's cool the church has been around that long.
Where we're headed
What's the bottom line? More than ever, City Gate Church is committed to fostering a community built around hope, life, and purpose in Jesus. Hope for everyone, both today and in the future. Life as Jesus gives it; which is life beyond the common. Purpose, we can find it in Jesus, and make a significant difference in the world around us.
